My take on Pond’s Pure White Deep Cleansing Facial Foam With Activated Carbon

This comes in a very sleek, black colour tube with a flip open cap. This tube is leak proof and travel friendly. Fragrance of this face wash is mild and pleasant. It does not irritate my nose. The fragrance goes off soon after I wash my face. The face wash is pearly grey in colour and has tiny granules of activated carbon.

Consistency wise, it is thick and creamy. Due to thick consistency I need only a pea sized quantity for my face. It lathers very well. This facial foam does not contain SLS and parabens. It gets rinse off entirely and easily without putting in much effort.

After using this face wash, my face feels very clean. It removes routine makeup, dirt and grime nicely. It controls sebum production by the skin for hours after use. I like using it in summers. However it makes my skin a little stretchy. So I have to dab on some lotion immediately after using this face wash especially in winters.

It instantly brightens my complexion and does remove tan to some extent too. I have not experienced any breakouts or skin irritation while using this facial foam. The beads in this face wash are not good enough to provide proper exfoliation.

Overall, it is a pocket friendly product that can be used on daily basis. It has certain minor cons that can be overlooked. For me the positives of this face wash outnumber the negatives.

I would recommend it to people with oily skin and even those with combination skin as it controls sebum production quite well. However, if you have dry skin then skip this one, especially in winters.
