1. Washing Hair More Or Less Frequently:
Most of the time, oily hair is produced caused because of the excess oil that has not been removed properly, and people with oily hair might need to wash it daily to get rid of that extra oil. Shampoo not only removes excess oil but also removes excess hair products and other debris built up on the scalp. So washing your hair frequently is the way to go for people with excessively oily hair.

3. Over Styling Your Hair:
Over styling, your hair can not only damage your hair, but it can also make your hair look greasy and oily more quickly. Therefore, oily hair issues are advised to let your hair dry naturally and avoid using blow dryers and hair straighteners to curb oily hair issues.
4. Touching Your Hair:
Have you ever noticed that if you touch your hair too frequently, it looks greasier after you have touched them? This is because touching and running hands through your hair will transfer oil and dirt from your hands onto the hair. Also, if you scratch your hair, it stimulates the oil glands, and they will produce more oil. So guys, avoid touching your hair and scratching your scalp if you want to get rid of oily hair.
5. Silicone In Hair Products:
Silicone is supposed to make your hair look more shiny and smooth. Though there is a fine line between gloss and grease, silicone builds up in the hair can make it look oily, greasy and weighed down.
So it is advised to use hair products that are free from silicone if you want to avoid oily hair.
