All these things indicate that it’s time that you take a closer look at your beauty regime and daily routine. It is time for you to break some of your beauty habits that are not working out. Continue reading to know some beauty habits you should break to save yourself from breakouts and skincare issues.
Going to bed with makeup on: Going to sleep with your makeup on is the biggest crime a girl can do J and being lazy or tired is no excuse for this. This will definitely make you wake up with blackheads and zits as overnight the make-up clogs your pores and become the major cause of bacteria breeding spots. So you should properly follow the cleansing, toning and moisturising regime or at least you should keep cleansing face wipes near your bed to remove makeup.
Shampooing hair every other day: Over shampooing can wipe off natural oils from your hair and can make them dry and prone to split ends. You should wash your hair 2 or 3 times a week. Or you can just wash your hair with conditioner if you have to wash them more than 2-3 times a week. In case you have oily hair and need to wash them daily then choose a mild shampoo for your hair.
Avoiding eye cream: Our under eye area is very sensitive and shows signs of neglect and ageing easily. So it is very important to use a good night cream to keep your under-eye area properly moisturised. Moreover, you should apply your eye cream gently rather than rubbing the cream on the under-eye area.
Hair Raising Time: It is a complete disaster for your hair and skin to hit the sack on a rough pillow with hair open as the dirt and oil on hair will get transferred to your face which will cause breakouts. So make sure you change your pillow covers frequently. Before going to bed either you should tie your hair into two pigtails or a loose top knot. This will prevent tangles, split ends or knots which will automatically reduce hair breakage.
Stay away from smoking and squinting: Squinting in the sun and smoking can cause the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. Even if you use a straw to drink, that can also cause the formation of lines and wrinkles. So girls stay away from smoking, use good sunscreen, use sunglasses before you step out of your house and avoid using a straw to drink.
