Summer Inspirations From Anupama Dayal Collection (WIFW Spring/Summer 2014)

Hey guys! Its summer time so I thought about sharing Anupama Dayal Collection from Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Spring/Summer 2014. I loved the collection completely especially for the colors used as I am a big admirer of pink and peachy shades(just like any other girl in this world 🙂 ). Moreover in this collection you will get to see many floral prints and by now you all must be aware about my floral love which I admitted in my last post 🙂 . Here is a quick glimpse of the collection.

I just loved the floral prints with pink and peach hues used in this collection. The whole collection was filled with fresh and subtle colors which will give you a feeling of spring and summer season. She used old techniques of hand printing and needle craft so beautifully. The collection included palazzo trousers, long and short dresses, chanderi sarees and skirts. She also used floral headgears that looked so apt with the apparels in baby pink, blush pink and magenta pink. In Anupama’s words “”My collection was the story of a young girl with her unending dreams of travelling the world. But, she realizes at the end that her world in inside her and she is celebrating that moment of happiness.” “The colours and flowers bring sheer joy. I wanted to capture that” Anupama said.
