DIY-Banana Coffee Face Pack

Hey all beauty geeks!!! Like you all, I love pampering my skin. However, going to a parlor for a facial is not always possible. For those days, I like to explore and experiment with various DIY face packs. Some are instant hit and some are forever flops. πŸ˜‰

I am a believer in quick and easy solutions to everything. There are days when I just do not want to do a proper facial routine because of the steps it involves – cleansing, scrubbing, steaming and finally, applying the face pack. This pack was invented on such lazy days when I wanted to save time by having a scrub, steam and a face pack in one. Let us explore the face pack aka The Mini Facial. πŸ™‚

Ingredients Required:

  • 1/3rd ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp coffee grounds
  • 1 tbsp raw milk
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

Benefits of the face pack:

Banana: Dr. Oz calls banana as the ‘natural botox’. Sachhi πŸ™‚ Bananas are awesome for all skin types and have so many amazing nutrients that will take your skincare to next level. Any skin issue – ageing, pores, dryness, dark spots, dullness- can be resolved by using a banana face mask.

Coffee: Coffee is a widely known anti ageing miracle. The antioxidants present in the coffee help you fight the battle against ageing. Coffee is also famous for its anti-inflammatory properties. This face pack will instantly slim your face by reducing the puffiness.

Milk: Milk has essential alpha-hydroxy acids, vitamin B, calcium and several anti-oxidants that are beneficial for the skin. The best thing is milk is perfect for dry, oily as well as acne-prone skin.

Preparation and Application:

Step 1: Smash and smoothen the banana pulp.

Step 2: Add the coffee grounds and mix it well.

Step 3: Add milk slowly. You can add more or less depending upon the consistency you want. I prefer keeping it little runny, as it is easier to remove then.

Step 4: Apply this face pack on a clean face.

Step 5: Leave it on for 15-20 minutes.

Step 6: Wet your fingers and start massaging the face pack slowly. The coffee grounds will act as a fine scrub.

Step 7: Dampen a wash cloth with warm water and keep it on your face for a minute.

Step 8: Wipe off the face pack with the same washcloth.

Step 9: Once the face pack is completely removed, rinse your face with cold water.

And tadaa, admire your clean and glowing face!!! πŸ™‚

Hope you guys liked it. Cya later πŸ™‚
