Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Autumn Winter 2014: Anupama Dayal Collection

Anupama Dayal Collection at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Autumn Winter 2014 was inspired by “Kamasutra.” In Anupama’s words “Contrary to popular perception the Kamasutra is not really just a sex manual. Its spiritual, holistic. It is an extensive guide on virtuous and gracious living and elaborates on love, family life.” The collection rightly symbolised the Bold Bride J as Anupama Dayal didn’t shy away from skin show in her collection. The collection was dominated by sarees teamed with skimpy cholis. The fabric used comprises of chanderi, brocades, zardozi, tangil, hand prints, pearl embroider and tassels. The colors used ranged from reds, pyazi, spice greens, kesari and badami. She teamed the outfits with maang teekas, aalta stickers and kamarbandhs which revived the old tradition of India. So overall I found the collection Bold, Colorful and BeautifulJ.
