Hola my beautiful readers! One of my reviews earlier was on the VLCC brand, and yet again I am here with one more VLCC product to review for you all and share my experience with it. I happened to spot VLCC Gold Polishing Face Scrub Jewel Radiance while surfing online. I have used a couple of scrubs before of different brands but never like this one. It seemed attractive and the ingredients including gold leaf giving a jewel radiance made me buy it! I never had used a scrub which would give jewel radiance to me, if not in reality but yeah theoretically better to try first! So when this got delivered to me, I used it the next day and if not really something magical, I saw some difference at least. Read on ahead as to what this scrub is about and how it made a difference to me!
PRODUCT CLAIMS–
This unique scrub is enriched with pure gold, turmeric and grape extract. It has a deep pore cleansing action that gently exfoliates dead skin cells, whiteheads and blackheads and increases blood circulation. It leaves the skin fresh and glowing with a radiant complexion. (Okay, so when I read it first I didnt know how much of this would actually be true enough!).
KEY INGREDIENTS– Aqua, carbomer, glycerin, aloe vera gel, turmeric, extract, grape extract, vitamin E, gold oxide, polyethylene beads, xanthan gum, perfume etc.
PRICE– 180 for 80 Grams
SHELF LIFE– 2-3 YEARS
PACKAGING– This gold scrub comes in a regular golden coloured tube which resembles its main property of gold, whatsoever! It has a flip open cap which is convenient for usage and also can be taken along with you without any fret of leakage. Although the flip is not that tight, but isnt that loose too. Packaging is fine enough.
DIRECTIONS FOR USAGE– Take an appropriate amount of scrub and apply all over face like you would for any scrub with wet fingertips. Scrub for a few minutes with circular and outward strokes to exfoliate impurities. Rinse off thoroughly.
*however, what type of skin it is suitable for is not mentioned on the tube.
TEXTURE AND FRAGRANCE- The texture of this gold polishing scrub is pretty flowy and smooth like jelly. Not at all runny but its not thick in consistency too. The fragrance is sweet with a tinge of turmerics scent which makes it overall a fine delicate scent like. You would feel some very tiny particles of gold and in between some average sized mini gold leaf too. It makes the scrubbing all the more beauty bounded.
My take on VLCC Gold Polishing Face Scrub Jewel Radiance –
I wasnt skeptical of this product because of its terms like radiance, jewel glow or gold polishing, unlike I feel with most of the other beauty products. Well, I was very satisfied with the pleasant fragrance already, although it didnt last for long after I washed the scrub off. And when I put some scrub on my fingertips to apply on my face it felt really good and refreshing. I think its claims for exfoliating the skin was very much to the point. It was effectual in removing the dirt and exfoliating my skin thoroughly. My skin type is normal, neither too oily nor dry, so it didnt dry my skin as such, but it could prove to be a bit drying for other skin types. It would have been helpful, if the skin type was mentioned on the tube.

- Could have been a bit cheaper( because of the moderate product results)
- Can make skin dry for some

Well, its a in between situation. Some would like it and some might now like it. Its a well and good product but a bit highly priced at the level of its outcomes. So you could go for it once.
