This is my first review for this wonderful Indian beauty and fashion blog “BFF” and what better than writing about a Body Shop product. Gift a girl a Body Shop hamper and she will be the happiest girl on the planet. (a little exaggeration: p). I am Rohita and here I am ditching my IT profession and setting foot into the fashion world. A hobby in creative thinking and an envy of other artists can be a potent mix for other motivations.

My joy for travel and photography go hand-in-hand. The styles in a new place keep driving me to go CLICK CLICK CLICK. A new city, a new angle, a new cuisine, a new accessory, or, for that matter, a new sound keeps my styling focus grounded and yet forward. 🙂 Apart from my creative interests, my love extends for Italian food, binge watching TV series (last was Arrow: p), bold colors, loads of kajal, footwear in flats, faux bob https://rusbank.net/offers/microloans/zaym_na_kartu_kruglosutochno/

I came across The Body Shop Tea Tree Cleanser last month when I was exploring for an anti-marks face wash. Since the tap water in my house is hard water, I wanted a cleanser which keeps the moisture of the face intact. .Even though the price of the cleanser is premium and is a little heavy on the pocket, I wanted to experiment it because The Body Shop products hardly disappoint. I have been using the product for over a month now and these are my findings.

What The Body Shop claims? Our Community Fair Trade organic tea tree oil comes from The Kenya Organic Oil Farmers’ Association (KOOFA), a co-operative of over 550 small-scale organic farmers around Mount Kenya National Park. Our products contain only pure leaf essential oil, made with hand-harvested leaves and gently steam-distilled for an exceptional-quality purifying essential oil. The leaves are steam distilled within 12 hours of harvest, using a gentle heat to ensure high quality tea tree oil. Our trade helps provide the smallholder famers of KOOFA with a steady income, which means that they can develop sustainable farming systems and fund community projects in their local area.

My experience with The Body Shop Tea Tree Cleanser The Body Shop Tea Tree Cleanserhas a foamy texture that makes it lather up faster and also light on the skin. The pump style bottle makes it easy to extract the product on a daily basis. The bottle is not small enough to slip into your purse but surely there won’t be any leakages during travelling. One pump is enough for cleansing once. Since you require only a pea size amount, one bottle will last more than 6 months.

It has a very strong Tea Tree fragrance but doesn’t linger after rinsing with water. Avoid the eye and nose area if you are sensitive to strong fragrance. What I really like about this cleanser is that I didn’t have any side effects or breakouts. It leaves the skin soft and supple and does not dry the skin. I have a combination skin and I really like a cleanser which removes the oil from the T-Zone and does not dry out rest of the skin. Surely my spots are fading but I do not know if it is a gradual progression or the effect of the cleanser. As the name suggests it cleans the skin but doesn’t remove blackheads and whiteheads. This cleanser should suit any skin type and most importantly it works well with hard water too. Overall it is an effective product with no side effects but compared to other cleansers in the market it is a bit pricey.

Will I repurchaseThe Body Shop Tea Tree Cleanser?

I like the cleanser, more than anything it helps to maintain the moisture even with hard water. If I get clear tap water then I will not purchase this product again as it is overpriced.

Do I recommend The Body Shop Tea Tree Cleanser?

Definitely! It works well on combination to dry skin type. Tea Tree has good amount of benefits. If you are ready to splurge a bit then I do recommend it strongly in winters and people with pimple problems.
