Outfit Of The Day: How To Style Pink Shorts

Hey all lovely people!!! This is my first outfit post at this Indian beauty and fashion blog. Hope you guys like my attempt at outfit posts 🙂 Last month, we went for a vacation to Florida. And going to Florida, how could we miss Kennedy Space Centre aka NASA!!! Yup, the same NASA as in movies. I was superrrrrrr excited. 🙂

Since it was very hot in Florida, I decided to wear my favorite shorts. I love the color pink. It is so summery and romantic at the same time. These shorts keep the glam factor intact even in harshest of summers. 😉

But I also wanted the outfit to be classy at the same time. I did not want to dress like I was going to a beach. 😉 So, I paired the pink shorts with a black floral top. The loosely fitted top was a great contrast to short shorts. 🙂

The entire outfit was shouting SUMMERS with the pink color and the floral print. And it also kept me very comfortable the entire day we were exploring NASA.

Oxford shoes are a huge trend nowadays. I have oxfords in a beautiful blue-indigo mix color with some gold detailing. I know they were a bit loud for a day wear, but I was on a holiday 🙂 I wore the shoes and they went perfectly with the outfit to give it a ‘color block’ look. I wore pearls with the top to add more grace to the outfit. I know oxfords and pearls are opposite in style trends. But I love breaking the rules 😉 I wore my Guess blue watch to match a bit with the shoes.

We roamed around NASA the entire day. I also wore a big hat to keep me protected from the harsh sun. I did not carry a bag as my hubby was already carrying a backup and I did not want to burden myself ;)All in all, I loved the outfit. I felt comfortable and stylish, at the same time. Hope you guys liked the outfit as much !!! 🙂
