Hey! Hi people! Today I am writing something which shall be beneficial for all the people who go to the gym and are looking for post workouts. Today I am writing a review about Muscle Blaze Whey Protein Chocolate. Before that let us look at why we need proteins at all. Well proteins are made up of amino acids and whenever we intake protein in any form our body breaks them down into amino acids which are then absorbed by our body. Broadly speaking our body needs around 20 amino acids, some our body is capable of producing and for the remaining we need to find an alternate outside source. These are called essential amino acids as our body cannot make them. Now we need protein supplements just for that, to fulfill our bodily needs of essential amino acids and also for post workout muscle recovery. Well lets start with the review.
Taste and mix ability:
As it is with all Whey proteins this product from Muscle Blaze is the same, taste is ok type and the its mixing ability is also not great. But if you mix it thoroughly it then gets mix properly. You need to shake it well else some chocolate balls gets formed. As far as ‘mixing it with’ is concerned, I usually take it with water as milk can result in fat gain. If you are quite lean then I would suggest you have it with skimmed milk. The taste is not great but not bad either, it is drinkable and does not give you a bad after taste.
Contents, protein per scoop and size:
The pack contains all essential amino acids along with EAA’s and BCAA’s. It also contains glutamic acid which is quite good. The protein per scoop is also good. It gives 25 grams of protein per 33 grams (which is the size of the scoop). Which means 75% protein.
Per scoop measurements (33 grams):
Protein: 25 grams
EAA’s: 11.3 grams
BCAA’s: 5.4 grams
Glutamic acid: 4.1 grams
Price:
I purchased this product for a mere INR 4000 in 2013, and finished it just now, taking two scoops initially and then increasing it to 2.5-3 after 10 days. It is almost finished in a month. The price for this product is quite remarkable given all the other things. I would give a thumbs up for its price and it is indeed a value for money product.
Performance:
As I have already mentioned I started with two scoops and then increased it up to 3. The performance of the product was good. I wouldn’t say it was excellent but yeah it was average. Given the price I would take the product rather than leaving it.
Drawbacks:
Well if you want great performance then this might not be the one for you, but you won’t get a product at the same price giving such performance. I also did not find the taste to be great, it must be improved by the makers. Plus it does not have any contents of Creatine which is needed for better performance of the muscles. Thus these things should be tried to improve. In addition to these, this being a Whey product, it is not suitable for people who are Lactose intolerant.
Conclusion:
Well on the whole this product is a decent buy at the given price, muscle blaze has made the product for beginners and if you are starting your workouts then this can be a good starter but if you want good performance and are ready to spend 1-2 k then there are many good products in the market that you can go for.
wow will try
