Matrix Opti.Care Smooth Straight Split End Serum Review

Hey girls! Today I am going to review “Matrix Opti.Care Smooth Straight Split End Serum”. Honestly speaking when I purchased this product I didn’t realised or better to say I didn’t noticed that it is meant for chemically straightened hair, I realised this after almost 1-2 monthsJ. But never mind this product was worth trying so all I can say that my mistake was a blessing in disguise (as I believe whatever happens, happens for the best)J.

My take on Matrix Opti.Care Smooth Straight Split End Serum

This product comes in a light orange color plastic bottle which is transparent with a screw lid and the bottle has a pump to dispense the serum which makes this product quite travel friendly. Let me tell you about my hair texture first, I have straight medium length hair but they are not very smooth. Well this product worked for me, it gives a nice shine to my hair. The consistency of the serum is very runny so it has to be handled with care. It has a very light consistency almost weightless. The texture is very smooth and silky. I need only one or two pumps on my medium length hair. The serum makes me feel as if I don’t have anything on my hair. It makes your hair a bit manageable but it does no completely tame the frizz. It smoothens my hair and makes them lookstraight. It is also helpful in reducing tangles. Even if I skip my conditioner and apply this serum after shampoo my hair still feels silky.

One important thing which I need to tell you about this product is that it doesn’t work that great on dry hair as compared to wet hair. So you are advised to use it after washing your hair when they are wet, this will make your hair less greasy and more shiny. It is effective on rebonded or chemically treated hair. Its fragrance is nice, mild and very fruity and I personally liked the fragrance.
