I am going to share some very important kitchen shelf beauty remedies with you to tackle dryness of skin, chapped lips and to retain your skin’s glow this winter. These remedies can save your visit to parlour as these can be easily done at home with things readily available in your kitchen.

 

Aloe Vera Face Pack: As we all know aloe vera is loaded with essential nutrients for skin. All you need to do is make a pack by mixing aloe vera with oatmeal and scrub gently up on face. Leave it for 15-20 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water.
 
 
Sandalwood and Saffron Face Pack: Saffron is very useful in retaining skin moisture and in improving your complexion. Make a face pack by mixing 3 strands of saffron, 2 tablespoon of milk and sandalwood powder. Mix all the ingredients well to make a paste and apply it on face and neck. Leave the paste on face for around 20 minutes then wash off with lukewarm water to get the glowing and radiant skin.


 

 
 
Olive Oil Face Pack: Mix olive oil, honey and egg in a bowl and apply it on face and leave for 15-20 minutes. Wash it with lukewarm water.  You can also use olive oil to massage on face and body before going to bed. Olive oil contains Vitamin E which helps the skin fight radicals which are responsible for unhealthy and bad skin. Moreover olive oil contains fats which are similar to the fat cells present in the skin. So massaging olive oil will give you radiant and glowing skin.
 
 
Honey Face Pack: This is the simplest face pack, all you need to do is massage honey on your face and leave it for 20 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water. Honey is a natural skin moisturiser. It contains glucose, fructose, water, oil and enzymes which are natural skin moisturisers.
 
 
Body polish for radiant skin: Mix honey and yogurt to make a paste. Massage it gently on skin and leave for 10-15 minutes. Wash off with warm water. This homemade body polish will help in removing dead cells and in rejuvenation. Your skin will become radiant and glowing.
 
 
Body Scrub for skin exfoliation: Mix lemon zest, olive oil and sea salt to make a scrub. Then wet your skin and gently massage the scrub. Wash off with lukewarm water. Ingredients like sea salt and lemon helps in exfoliating the skin.
