I bought Nivea Pure Effect Total Face Cleanup after a friend recommended it to me. I was keen to experiment because of its 3 in 1 claim and since it was not heavy on pocket. I just bought it from the super market one day while shopping with mom. I have been using the product for the past two weeks and here is my take on it.

My take on Nivea Pure Effect Total Face Cleanup
The Nivea Pure Effect Total Face Cleanup is light blue in colour and has a thick consistency. It spreads evenly on the face. It has tiny granules/beads which are not visible but you can feel them as you use it on your face. It comes in a white tube, with a blue flip top. It is travel friendly and you can easily slip it into your purse. Nivea Pure Effect Total Face Cleanup has a very mild fragrance, very similar to the Nivea cream, but it does not linger long.
I have dry and sensitive skin but during summers my skin tends to become normal and the T zone feels slightly oily. That is why; I bought this product to use during the summer season. I have used it in all the three ways and here’s what I felt about it.
As a Face Wash, it is ineffective for me. It acts more like a scrub. The granules tend to exfoliate my skin rather than cleaning it. It fails as a daily use face wash for me. On days, when I am out in the heat for long and my face is all sweaty and grimy, I love using this for cleansing my face. So, I guess, it will work best for those with oily skin.
As a scrub, like I mentioned above, it does a good job. I particularly like to use it around my T zone which is very oil and I find it to be very effective on that area. I use it on alternate days and I use my other face wash on the days I don’t scrub. Thumbs up to this product for being a good scrub.
As a pack, Nivea Pure Effect Total Face Cleanup is amazing. It does not dry out my skin, deeply cleanse it and gives me a squeaky clean feeling which I completely love 🙂

Final Rating: 4/5
Will I repurchase Nivea Pure Effect Total Face Cleanup?
I will definitely repurchase this product but only for the summers. I love the way my skin feels after I use the product.
Do I recommend Nivea Pure Effect Total Face Cleanup?
I would recommend it to people with normal to oily skin or to those with combination skin as well. I would strongly advice people with dry skin to stay away from it. I tried it once during the winters and it dried out my skin badly. If you have a ‘confused’ skin type like, the one that changes according to seasons, then give it a try. It’s really pocket friendly.
