Making the cut to the film industry is in itself is a dream which many people are not able to live but what is perfect is making it big on the debut itself which hardly any celebrity is able to achieve. Today we are going to talk about some of the actors and actresses who with their very first movie announced loud and clear that yes they are here to stay and make it big. So let us start.
Hrithik Roshan:
He made his debut with Kaho Na Pyar Hai in the year 2000. No one knew him before that, he was just a famous director’s son and when he entered, he entered with a bang. He announced his presence loud and clear. His dance moves, his body, his two thumbs, his looks everything made headlines and what is great that even after 14 years of his debut, he still is the heartbeat of all the girls and is just getting better day by day.
Shahid Kapoor:
In 2003 a new kid entered the block. He was cute, smart and if you want to put it in one word the new “Chocolate Boy” of B-town. His college boy looks and even acting was praised by everyone and everyone knew that Bollywood has got a new versatile actor who dances and acts well.
Mahima Chowdhary:
Making debut alongside Sharukh Khan and acting for Subhash Ghai in her very first movie is not something any new actress can dream off. When you get this opportunity you are bound to cash in and get noticed, this is what happened with this Indian beauty but sadly Mahima wasn’t able to capitalize on it.
Deepika Padukone:
Another actress who with her first movie got the opportunity of acting alongside Shahrukh Khan that too in a powerful role. This long legged model had already won many hearts with her levis jeans adds but after this dream debut she hasn’t looked back. She has grown from strength to strength and is now the leading actress of Bollywood.
Ayushman Khurana:
He is someone who had always been around T.V. but when we saw a movie coming starring him we didn’t really pay attention. All thought he will come and go, but as soon as the movie released and people say Vicky Donor it became a rage and was loved by one and all. He had announced his coming, his acting was great and he was showered with awards in almost all award shows and since he has been going strong.
Anushka Sharma:
With her debut in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi we knew Bollywood has caught someone who is here to stay. A dream debut with the most romantic actor, the biggest banner and a famous producer, you can never ask for more and she pulled it off more than convincingly. Since then she has gone from strength to strength.
Ranveer Singh:
This actor has impressed the audience with his mass appeal, critics with his conviction and producers and directors alike with his X-factor. His role in Band Baaja Baarat as Bittu is just iconic. He lived the role and even the ward boy on sets knew he is going to be the next big thing and according to me he will be the next king of Bollywood.
Well there have also been many other actors and actresses who made a great impact with their debuts but none like these. We have only included the actors post 2000 so no Sharukhs, Aamirs and Salmans here. Some actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Varun Dhawan have showed the mean business but when they debuted it wasn’t the same.
